يهدف هذا التدريب الى بناء قدرات العاملين في جميع القطاعات الطبية في أقسام النسائية والتوليد والخداج والسجلات الطبية وأقسام جودة رعاية المرضى على كيفية التدقيق السريري (Clinical audit (لوفيات الأمهات ووفيات ما حول الولادة (الأجنة وحديثي الولادة) التي وقعت في المستشفى وذلك للحد من الوفيات التي يمكن تجنبها والارتقاء بجودة الخدمة الصحية المقدمة للمرضى. تم تصميم هذه المادة التدريبية بالتعاون مع وزارة الصحة وكافة الشركاء المعنيين واللجنة الوطنية لنظامي الأمهات والاجنة وحديثي الولادة.
